Default cover & additional default cover

Default cover

If your employer pays your super to Statewide Super, you could automatically be provided with a default level of death (including terminal illness), TPD and income protection insurance to protect you and/or your family subject to the eligibility conditions.**

If you’re aged under 25 or have an account balance of less than $6,000 but still wish to have default insurance, you can opt-in to hold insurance at any time via your Statewide Super Online account. Once you opt-in, you will activate your insurance and subject to you meeting all eligibility criteria under the policy with the insurer (including receiving a super guarantee contribution from your employer after opting-in) default cover will be applied to your account.
