Your investment options
With the Statewide Pension, you can choose to invest your money in one or more of our ‘diversified’ or ‘single asset class’ investment options to suit your needs.
Diversified options invest in a range of asset classes which help to reduce the level of risk. The level of risk for each option varies according to the proportion held in each asset class.
Single asset class options
The single asset class options generally have higher risk because, unlike diversified investment options, investments are not spread across a range of asset classes.
When you first apply to invest in the Statewide Pension, you’ll need to select the option(s) you’d like your money invested in. After that, you have the ability to change, or switch, your investment options at any time. The first switch in a financial year is free and additional switches cost $20 per switch.
